Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful thanksgiving today. Milly really enjoyed trying all of the new foods, her favorite being pie! She made an even bigger mess than she did with her birthday cake, next year she might need a birthday pie.

Milly's new chair!

My Mom bought Milly the cutest pink chair for Christmas. We are storing it at our house for the moment, so I had to take it out JUST ONCE so I could take Milly's picture in it. Shhh.....don't tell my Mom!

big girl shoes

Milly received her first pair of big girl shoes in the mail today. Even though they are big girl shoes, they are still very tiny.. a size three. Milly isn't quite sure if she likes the feel of them yet, they are a bit awkward but will be perfect for when she begins to walk. She does however like to make stomping noises with them are the wood floor.

a new light

My Dad just installed Milly's new chandelier in her room, it looks so cute! The chandelier was a birthday present from Milly's aunt Coco. In other news since the weather has been getting colder, Milly has been wearing some of her long sleeves shirts and sweaters. She's not used to wearing long sleeves indoors, much less having fun prints all over them. While wearing her long sleeve shirts/sweaters she constantly tries to pick the pattern up with her fingers, it's very cute. Trust me.

12 month check-up

Milly had her 12 month check-up today. She weighs 18 pounds, and is 29 inches long. Her head is still the biggest part of her, measuring in at the 99th percentile. The nurse gave Milly three shots, and she took them fairly well. That's all for now..

The tiniest Dinon

Yesterday was Milly's real birthday, and at the request of Nana Sue Milly got to smash messy birthday cake everywhere. I'm also including a few pictures of Milly from last year.....please enjoy!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

What a busy week, two birthday celebrations and Halloween! Milly was a peacock for Halloween, and I must say that she was the cutest baby ever. I took her to Mike's work for a bit of trick-or-treating, she was really excited to get lots of attention from Mike's co-workers. Plus one of them even gave her a vanilla wafer! Later on that evening we went to my parents house so she could help my Mom pass out candy. Passing out candy was so exciting for her, she wanted to touch all the kids dressed up in costume. She would squeal in delight every time someone came to the door, and she didn't get scared once. Milly finished off the night in her special black cat Halloween pjs.

The best halloween/birthday party ever!

We celebrated Milly's birthday on 10/29, it was a ton of fun! Milly had lots of guests, and got a load of presents. She was the best hostess until the very end when she finally got to eat her birthday cupcake. She had a small meltdown when everyone was clapping for her........but all in all she had a blast!
