chocolate marker

Milly loves coloring with the chocolate color, you know, brown?

The Muse

As if you didn't notice the gorgeously handsome feline behind Milly. It's Oliver, he always steals the spotlight. No matter what.

Playground Visit #2

Since the weather permitted, we took Milly to the playground this afternoon. This time we visited the swings, which were a big hit. The excitement on MIlly's face while swinging, priceless.

Party Girl

Milly, right before we left for baby Juniper's party. Instead of putting ribbon on Juniper's present, Milly colored on it instead. Very modern.

What you got cookin' ?

After braving the snow to buy batteries, we can finally show you what a great gourmet chef Milly is becoming. A regular gourmet chef. With Milly helping in the kitchen the messes are bigger, but the rewards better.

to the park we run

Our weather has been very cold, rainy and windy lately. Not park friendly weather. Wet slides are not fun. Well, here we are living in a great new house, in a great new neighborhood with not one, not two, but FOUR playgrounds, and we can't play at any of them. During a pause in the rain last week, we as a family decided to make a break for it and run to the playground. Milly literally toddler ran the whole way, yelling down the sidewalks, "Mama Daddy HURRY!". When we finally arrived at the playground, it was too soggy and cold to play, but Milly wasn't too disappointed because she had a blast running back home. Go figure. Oh and when I mentioned to the photographer of these photos, MIke, that they were blurry, he told me blurry is the new clear.

Ponies, and not the horse kind, REGULAR ponies.

Milly's hair is getting long....well longER. I figured it was high time to do something with it, as much fun as messy hair is, and believe me I know, it is even better to have nice ponytails. Milly eh, well she doesn't care too much for ponytails, or ponies as she refers to them. But they do look very very cute on her, as you'll see from the pictures.

MIlly has also recently taken up an obsession with every and all things regular. Regular toast, regular milk, regular cheese, regular eggs, regular pancakes, regular juice, regular water even, if there is such a thing. Everything has to be regular. Sounds cute huh? Well.... not really.

Christmas with the Peng

Wouldn't you know, Santa brought Milly a big stuffed penguin? Christmas proved to be very exciting for Milly, she had a good time with the family and food, but opening presents for her was more of a hassle than anything, and Santa was just some fat guy who lived at Mike's work. I keep thinking she's getting so grown up, like she was going to question the whole Santa business, but then, surprise, she's still very much a tiny toddler, who is more interested in candy canes than spendy toys. Good, I like it better that way.

The Zoo with Muccus

These pictures are old, I'm not going to lie, maybe a month or so ago. But I will say we did have a fab time at the zoo with Lisa and Accimus, better known to Milly as Muccus. Milly wanted so so bad to push Accimus in the stroller, but as you can tell from the pictures Accimus was not so enthused.
