A big girl bed for MIl

This past weekend I went in to check on Milly during her nap, and found her fast asleep in her toy basket. It was at that moment that I realized we should probably quit talking about buying her a new bed and actually do it. My Mom, Milly and I braved Ikea this weekend and found Milly a great new bed. Mike and I tested the resilience of our marriage this Sunday and put it together. Well I put it together while Mike watched, complaining nonetheless. The best part about the bed is that Mike can vouch for it's longevity and quality, he had a similar bed from Ikea that lasted him into his twenties.

Fency Fence Fence

Milly's favorite friend, Accimus.

Milly and I watched Accimus for a short while today, and boy did we have fun! Milly and Accimus tried out our new fence in the backyard, and it seemed to have passed the toddler fun test. Milly's only complaint about her time with Accimus could only be that he didn't want to play dress up with her, oh well maybe next time.

Milly 101

Milly is doing beautifully, when she's not reeking havoc that is. No, really she is an awesome little girl and I'm lucky to be her Mom. We started swimming lessons last week, Milly is officially a Little Kipper, Level 1. She likes the water other than getting splashed, putting her head underwater, and the lines (or swimmers lanes) at the bottom of the pool. She is obsessed with lines right now. MIke, trying to make her feel better about them was telling her that really, lines are everywhere and went on to point out lines in the street, on her sweater, in the bathroom, everywhere. So Milly, magical as she is, has now taken to fighting the lines, so we must stomp or hit any lines that we encounter during the day. She told Mike the other night when we picked him up from work that she was a, "Real Fighter", then she punched him in his lined shirt. So please, no wearing stripes/lines of any kind around Mil, unless you want to get pummeled toddler style.

BOY, I'm growing a BOY!

The cats are tired just thinking about dodging yet another baby.
