Well, we are waiting for Mike to get off the bus and the kids are getting antsy. Mil is way excited, and I won't embarrass Truman any further by posting pictures of him with wings, but he's having a blast running around (flying maybe?). Here is Mil by our spread for Santa. Note Mil's constant messy face, and our tiny tree. With T walking, and Oliver um, marking his territory everywhere, I didn't want to chance a regular tree this year.

This is the stuff blackmail is made of
......and proof that it is time for Mike to COME HOME FROM WORK ALREADY. Mil is way excited about Santa coming tonight, we are having a family debate as to what reindeers eat. My Mom got Mil the cutest dish to leave the reindeers food in, and so far we are heavily leaning towards filling it with cookies and ritz crackers. But Mil is insisting on carrots, which we unfortunately are out of. We'll see. I hope everyone has a great holiday tomorrow, and stayed tuned for photos of MIl's fifth and T's first Christmas morning!

Our Favorite Family
So seriously, and I'm sorry if this embarrasses Lisa, but the Koch family is so great. The best people you could ever meet. I am so envious of Lisa's parenting abilities, namely her patience (and glandular tissue). Ahh, she should give advice on Oprah. But anyway, we had a great time with them. Mil CONSTANTLY talks of marrying Accimus, her prince. So cute. Today she was telling me that he needs to buy her a ring soon. But when they were over, Mil and Accimus love to play cat under our (broken) table.
The Worst Mother?
Ahh, that is what I feel like because there were no mittens for the kids to wear in the snow today. In my defense, Mil does have adorable mittens my Mom got her, but I have no idea where they are. Secretly, I think Mil hid them (she exceptionally smart) because she threw a fit when Mike took her out in the snow on Sunday and made her wear them. But really, we were barely outside, not nearly enough time to get frostbite. I hope.

Walking Early, Bumping Frequently
The older Truman gets, the more I realize what a perfect baby Mil was. We never dealt with her being sick, or getting numerous bumps and bruises. Truman on the other hand, poor guy! He is so busy, and consistently gets new bruises. Take for example the big gash above his eye, just in time for the Santa photo. But Truman is so tough, very much a boy. He, and for a few weeks now, fully walks. His favorite person is Mil, he absolutely adores her. It is the neatest thing to watch them interact. Mil is like a tiny body guard for T, she loves having the role of telling me what T is doing, what danger he may encounter. Like, "Mom he's getting the cat!", or, "He's eating my small kitchen toys!". Milly is a great helper to me, and an even better big Sister.
*note Mil's gingerbread mouth in the pics!*
Gingerbread, Accimus and George
For the holidays I got Mil a gingerbread house to decorate with her friends, the house was from Trader Joes and I must say, really nice. There wasn't a ton of candy to decorate with, but the house itself was really sturdy, and it was severely tested as Accimus and Mil played Littlest Pet Shop with it.
Then Mil had a grand time playing with George in her kitchen, they are both Pro Chefs.
Santa Breakfast
Ugh, I have been horrid, absolutely horrid about updating the blog. I'm sure some of you wouldn't even recognize the kids if you saw them on the street as they have gotten so big since the last post. Awful. But hopefully with this batch of pictures I can redeem myself. Fingers crossed.
So today was the Santa Breakfast at Russell, we were all really excited about it. We got there early and barely waited in line for the picture with Santa. Milly was so excited, waiting for Santa to show up, wondering where he was going to park his sleigh. Finally when Santa made his grand entrance Milly immediately hid behind my legs, and stuck her hand in her mouth. But luckily she was a pro at sitting on Santa's lap, and she didn't even falter when telling Santa she wanted a Dalmatian (stuffed) for Christmas. Truman was busy taking all the excitement and people in, and he also wasn't scared to sit on Santa's lap, maybe a bit stunned but not scared. After we did the Santa picture, we had a fun breakfast and then Mil and I battled the crowds to decorate cookies, make a reindeer gift bag, get a balloon and then we took a quick break before we hunted down Rudolph for a picture. AND, maybe the most amazing thing of the day, for the first time in three two years Mil actually got close to Frosty the Snowman! I even snapped a quick picture of the two of them. The last two years Mil was too scared of Frosty's eyes to even look at him for longer than five seconds.

Deer Downtown
So the craziest thing, while we were at breakfast at PSP, we saw a deer running around downtown! Crazy. Then we went and had tea, and couldn't find a turkey, then we found a turkey and our weekend was over. I am still confused. Luckily Mil can set us straight because at this time next week, she will be FOUR YEARS OLD! So old.

Galanga
Since Truman has been such a pleasure to take to breakfast on Saturdays, we thought we'd branch out and try a dinner with him. He is seriously such a great baby, he loves looking at all the people dining, and making friends with the waitstaff. He was nothing but happy during our entire dinner at Galanga. Milly was great, and loved her pad thai or peanut noodles as she calls them. Oh and the baby corn, she loves baby corn. Actually that is exactly what Mil told the waiter she wanted, peanut noodles and baby corn.
Rugby again.
Mike was thinking of joining the Rugby team, until we saw the player at the game Saturday with a bloody face injury. I think that permanently secured Mike as a fan of Rugby, never a player. Milly saw her favorite dog again, and Truman basically slept the whole time. I was talked into going down the slide with Mil again and again, so much that I thought I might throw up as we headed to the car.
