Milly has been great with T lately, I think the fact that he is getting more active really helps her engage with him. They also love to cuddle together.

WoollyBottoms

Truman has been wearing wool in leu of traditional diaper covers, and it is working great! I was unsure of wool holding in the moisture from his diapers, but I am completely amazed, he wakes up dry every night with the wool covers. But in the picture, these are his new WoollyBottoms shorts, INSANELY cute!

Poppers

The same day Mil got her new truck, Mike took her to a Raineer's game. They stayed out until 11ish at night but they had a great time. MIlly got to see the amazing (so I'v heard) fireworks show, her first real time seeing fireworks. She told me that she wanted to eat them, the poppers (fireworks)! Silly Mil.

New Driver

Ma and Papa Ken got Mil a new truck, and she absolutely loves it, and is a surprisingly good driver.

An update

We've been doing great, Truman finally rolled over last week. I was beginning to worry since all of his other baby friends are flipping around like acrobats, but T was just taking his time. He is getting so big so fast, we started solid foods with him about a month ago. We've been introducing things slowly, and I've been pureeing chunks of steamed veggies and fresh fruit like a mad woman. But so far he has tried bananas (which is by far his favorite). zucchini (okay IF some banana is mixed in with it), carrots ( okay by themselves, but better with banana), apples and sweet potatoes. It's so funny because he has such an appetite, something that Mike and I aren't used to since we've been living with Milly, the tiniest bird eater ever.

Milly is also doing great, she has been such a big help for me. She loves talking to T while I try to get things done around the house. And Truman truly, truly LOVES Milly. His eyes follow her wherever she goes and he consistently bursts out laughing whenever she shows him attention. As her pile of stuffed animals grows larger, Mil's bed seems to disappear. I'll have to post pics later, but I seriously don't know how she sleeps with so many animals in her bed.

Maybe sometime this month we will start to see Mike again, he's been super busy with his work and on average working about 80 hours a week. Somehow, and I don't know how he manages this, he STILL has time to research Linux operating systems online. Amazing.

Being a Goodmama I was....

washing the dipes instead of being at a show in Portland where Corin Tucker (from Sleater Kinney) was a special guest...oh and I wanted to go so bad. Good thing those Goodmamas are so soft and enjoyable.
