Shark Pants

Another cute diaper cover, Michelle at recyclingbabies, did a great job on these custom shark pants!

Long overdue, T's room

Truman's room isn't totally complete, but it's together enough for him to sleep and play in. You know, I truly miss our second bedroom at the condo, it was such a perfect space for a baby. I mean, T's room isn't horrible, but it's such an odd shape...I just remember Milly's room at the condo being the ultimate nursery.

T's first time in a high chair, out to eat...

....for what else? Breakfast at our favorite, PSP. Truman did great, I swear we are so lucky to have such an awesome baby! Or awesome family I should say, because Mil is pretty darn awesome too.

Friday Night Lights

A few weeks ago we went to a football game with Lisa and her family, her husband is very important, he is the head football coach. Mil and Accimus had tons of fun, they ate lots of licorice and then lots of popcorn off the floor. Coach Koch's team won!

Trunks Up

Mil and T look so cute in their halloween costumes! I can't even stand it.

Tongues out and George

Hello?

Also on the fist day of Mil's school, T sat up from a crawling position for the first time. I secretly think that LIsa, or Judah rather, was drilling Truman on this particular move during the hour or so Lisa babysat. But I left Truman on the floor, went to the kitchen and came back to see him sitting up, chewing on the phone.

First day of school!

So Mil's first day of school was rushed, Mike thought it was somehow a good idea to take the checkbook to work, when I needed a check to pay for Mil's first month of school. Hmm, it was awful. There was a lot of sweating. As if Milly's first day of school wasn't stressful/emotional enough, without the worry of being late. As I didn't realize Mike took the checkbook until minutes before I had to leave, on my way to Lisa's house to drop off Truman.

Fast forward, after T is dropped off and school tuition is paid.

I was horrified to leave Milly by herself at school, and at first she seemed scared to be left also. But soon, she was distracted by the other kids and I made a hasty exit. I felt awful. I didn't give her a proper hug and kiss before I took off, I merely motioned to her teacher that I was leaving. I seriously felt like the worst Mom as I drove away, but I knew that if I went back in there to make a big show of saying goodbye she wouldn't want me to go, and it would just cause unnecessary dramatics. And the whole point of her going to preschool is to learn to be more independent right? I was worried about her for the next two and a half hours. Was she crying? Was she wondering where I went? Did she remember to go tinkle (I left her an extra change of clothes in her backpack)? Was she going to want to go back to school? Those two and a half hours went by extremely slow, painfully slow.

But luckily when I went to pick her up, she was neither sad or upset with me for leaving her. She was so excited to see my Mom, T and I! I was excited to receive her small envelope of cuttings that she did in class. She LOVED school and talked all about her teachers, and fellow classmates. Her teacher said she did great, she didn't cry and went potty several times on her own.

Rainier's Game

Ahh, we got there late, very late....okay so late that it was really the end of the game 10 minutes into settling into our seats. How were we to know that the pitching would be so good? It was cute, Mike and Mil went out on the field after the game, er, before we went home.

The play date before last...

Forgive me, I have been horrid about updating the blog. These are pics from Michele and O's visit time before last. Oh, and I've been reading Mil the chapter Alice in Wonderland book. It really messes with my writing style.

T, Oliver and sunshine!

We LOVE baby Oliver, love him. He and T had a great time playing the other day, and Michele got some great photos! Milly also had fun, she really likes Oliver, and Michele too!
