Bully Love

Mika at Cuore on Etsy is making Boris inspired things! You should check our her Etsy store here, and check out her Boris sketch on her blog here

WAIT!!

I can't believe I forgot Easter! And the dog trainer!

Disregard whatever else I said in the previous post.

Mil's preschool had an Easter Egg hunt, which was really fun. Mike (yes really, Mike actually joined us), Boris and the whole family went to the hunt. Milly was so cute, her basket was only filled with various shades of pink Easter eggs! There were loads of eggs hidden at her preschool playground, but Mil only picked the pink ones. I wish that I got an extra picture of it, I didn't realize she until we were inside opening the eggs, and by that time T was running like a mad man and I had my camera put away. Truman didn't so much care for the eggs, he wanted up the slide.

We had a great Easter too, the Easter Bunny brought Mil and T matching cuddle octopus softies ( here ). The Easter Bunny must love buying handmade things as much as me! The kids had way too much candy, and way too much fun at Church and then Ma's.

We also had our first session with Boris' dog trainer. It went really well, and already I feel like it's made a difference. The trainer was great with the kids, she interacted with all of us and helped us understand how to deal with our Bully's overconfidence.

So,

not much has been going on lately, just the busyness of normal life. Mil had a tiny party with preschool friends over the other day, and actually it wasn't too bad. I was slightly worried since I was the only adult, but really, everything went really smooth. Truman's been hyper teething, in other words, super fussy. We had a house call from Dr. Swales this morning, lucky lucky we are. Tracy determined that T was only teething, no ear or throat issues. Thanks Tracy! You are the best! Mike finally fixed our fence a few weekends ago, I can now leave Mil and B in the yard without worrying about one of them falling five feet from our retaining wall at the back of our fence. Hmm, oh I know, B had eye surgery again this week. That poor dog, the vet tried a new technique that hopefully will keep that pesky cherry eye at bay. Boris took it really well, underneath his eye looks like raw hamburger meat, but I will admit that it looks better than the two previous times we took him in.

We have our fingers crossed that Mike will be able to go with us a few weekends from now to take Mil to the dinosaur exhibit in Seattle. That should be really exciting for her.

Til next time.
