Tough Guys

So MIke pretends like getting a dog was totally me and Mil's idea, like he was just along for the ride. But I think these pictures will prove otherwise. He loves B just as much as the rest of us, and Boris loves his Bully Dad.

I think we're officially a dog family now, I mean we slightly smell and are constantly covered in dog hair, we speak in goofy dog voices, plus our house has that unmistakeable dog oder to it. BUT on the bright side, all of our hearts of full of squishy, wonderful and slobbery bully love.

My Bully and T

Truman is getting so big, he has such a huge personality and really, quite the temper. He has a stomping foot, his right foot, which he really gets going when he's mad. He'll alternate between stomping and walking, and usually, depending on his temper, he'll throw whatever he finds in his path. Currently, he loves to throw things in the dog water.

T and Boris are quite a team, especially at meal time. Boris will park himself directly under T's highchair because he knows sooner or later T will throw down food for him. The other night we had spaghetti and even though it was naughty, it was quite cute to watch T feed Boris the long pasta noodles while B rested his head on the highchair tray.

Milly is quite the helper when it comes to B, she's been feeding him, and she'll help me chase him down when he's running around with something naughty in this mouth. And this weekend, it was so funny, Mil T and I were all watching from the slider as Mike chased Boris around the backyard desperate to get Mil's purple croc out of B's mouth. Even being a bulldog B is a ton faster than Mike.

B reminds me so much of Stoner, really so much. Especially these pictures of him, that expression is definitely and completely Stoner.

Feeding goats with our favorite family

Read HERE about the goats visiting our neighborhood and clearing out the gulch and First Creek.

We had a blast feeding the goats with the Koch's , especially one super grown up Judah (who wears real pants, not diaper covers and has a real haircut) who took pity on poor babyish T and gave him a pair of big boy flip-flops.

You want it, you need it.....

BULLY LOVE. Or at least my Mom does. She loves B so much she stitched up his cuddle toys for him.

Hot Days

Neko Case

Last night was the first time Mike and I have really done anything by ourselves for quite some time. My Mom was nice enough to watch our three kids, I'm counting the bully as he can be quite a handful. Mike got me super awesome seats for the Neko Case show, in Tacoma at the Pantages nonetheless. I don't know if we would have been able to make a show in Seattle anyway, considering Mike's ungodly work hours as of late. We barely made the Tacoma one, but it was AMAZING. Here is a video from the show last night, an ode to Tacoma by Neko Case, and Jennifer's tiny Opal Mae is the cutest dancer at the end :)

But Mil and T did great with my Mom, despite the horrendous heat we've been experiencing. The only sad thing? My Mom didn't let Boris giver her an appropriate dose of Bully Love.

Last Day of School

It was bittersweet; exciting and sad all at the same time. Mil had such a good time at preschool this year, and I am so impressed with her school, and I know, I completely sound like a broken record. But anyway her last day of school was full of songs (videos of which I'll upload later), cupcakes (that my Mom made and Mil and her decorated) and tiny preschool awards. This year went by so fast, luckily we have a house literally filled to the brim with Mil's preschool arts and crafts projects. I can't handle letting go of a single thing. Of course, this could potentially be a problem considering the number of years of school Mil has left. Oh and T's future paintings also.
