But wait.

Well,

obviously things have been absolutely insane since school has started for Mil . It seems like everything went into instant chaos as soon as school started. Mil absolutely LOVES her class, and her teacher is so great. I had the opportunity to go on their fist field trip to Build-A-Bear, and at first I was dubious about the trip. What exactly were 14 five year olds going to do at Build-A-Bear? Was I going to have to buy Mil a bear? What about the kids who didn't have money for a bear? When MIl's teacher told me the whole class was going to get, "One bear to share.", I thought she was crazy. Heck, I thought I was crazy for volunteering to chaperone. But you know what? It went so well, and it was so cute to watch all of the kids put a fabric heart into the class bear, take turns stuffing the bear, bathing the bear and finally, deciding what to name the bear, Blueberry Banta. I was truly impressed. There was not one fit, one tantrum, nada. On the bus ride home I got a chance to talk to MIl's teacher, and she is so sweet and smart, and just amazing with the kids.

We also took a trip to the fair with Lisa and her boys. I must admit my ulterior motive for going was to see B's bully Mom at the bulldog booth she was hosting at the fair. But we ended up just missing her The kids had a blast though! T didn't like cotton candy, INSANE. Lisa and I, we DID like cotton candy. We didn't go on any rides, but just walked and walked and walked. Lisa looked very cute with baby Linux in her belly.

Truman has been busy. So busy. He is a riot to watch, he makes the funniest expressions, and is really starting to turn into a little man. He loves Mil so much, and even lets her put on his shoes and help him into his coat before we leave the house. T, like Mil, is going to be a dalmatian for halloween. He looked so cute in his costume, and we even have a little dalmatian cape for B to wear.

Really, we've just been spending time with friends (you will see Jayne's fabulous house with unbelievable lighting in some of the photos), making the most of our time with Mike, and going on walks with our beloved bully.
