A weekend alone,

I'm sure most of you know that Mike is away for the weekend for Alice's Birthday, and as much as the kids and I have been missing him, we have been having an absolute blast together. A weekend long slumber party if you will. We've been snacking on cupcakes and yogurt pretzels and ice cream with smashed M&M's. I don't know how, but every night both of the kids have been sleeping in our bed. It's like sleeping next to writhing, sometimes cuddly, kiddy snakes. No joke. But Milly is going to make her special pizza in celebration of Mike's homecoming tomorrow.

bully playdate

I can't stress enough just how awesome B's human bully family is, we're very lucky to have met them and to have such a wonderful dog from their loving family. So, on Sunday B's bully Mom, Mari, organized a playdate for all of the dogs. We had such a great time. B AND the kids were absolutely exhausted after a few hours playing in the park.
